it happened early yesterday morning about 50 miles north of seattle. reporter jeff is joining us live to let us know the future of the homes that are still in danger. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, tori. geologists will come out and try to assess the damage and risk that is still posed to the few dozen homes. the slide is on the other side of this house. the video is amazing. it's best captured from up above. it looks like a huge bite was taken out of that hillside. the landslide itself is at least 700 feet long. and that cliff goes straight down about 200 feet. so much land mass was lost during yesterday morning's slide that the coastline here on would be island has now changed. it used to be straight and now it jets out about 40-50 feet. an immense amount of mud and rock and debris. only one home amazingly has been damaged so far. it was knocked clean off of its foundation. no injuries to report either. as i mentioned geologists will be coming out here to figure out if that land is still stable or unstable. there are reports from neighbors
